Where does "Tumblr" come from?

The name 'Tumblr' derives directly from 'tumblelog', an early term used for microblogs[1][2]. The word 'tumblelog' itself was coined by Jonathan Gillette in 2005 from a blend of 'tumble' and 'log'[2].
