boing (English)
Where does "boing" come from?
The word 'boing' originated as an onomatopoeic term in English, mimicking the sound of an object bouncing. It later traveled to Japan, where 'boin' took on a distinct meaning referring to large breasts. This new usage was then re-borrowed back into English, cementing its role as an energetic, if occasionally irreverent, descriptor for physical movement and arousal.
